My Story
People ask me how I went from being a Pediatric Nurse to owning a Bridal & Beauty Boutique... To me, the answer is simple — I have always been interested in making all things Beautiful (Body, Mind + Soul) and caring for people.
As a Peds Nurse for almost 20 years, I learned that some of life's most meaningful moments aren't just about skill & knowledge — they're about compassion, trust, and making someone feel safe. 15 years ago my Nursing career expanded into Dermatology and Cosmetic treatments. In 2015, I opened Faces Dermastudio Wellness clinic in Leduc, Alberta. Over the past 11 years, I've had the privilege of helping thousands of women (and men) feel confident in their own skin. When people feel beautiful, they carry themselves differently. I LOVE seeing someone shine from within!
Over the past few years, life has frequently brought me to the beautiful Island — and I quickly noticed a lack of shops for Brides! Bridal has always been in my heart, since I was a young girl watching my dear Aunty in her Bridal shop. It was always such a lovely environment, full of gorgeous gowns and happy Brides!
The Bridal Hall + Beauty Boutique was born from one simple idea: I understand how everyone deserves to feel like the most stunning version of themselves, — especially a BRIDE on her Wedding Day!— The goal is to have a cozy, relaxed & crazy enjoyable Bridal gown shopping experience! Bridal boutiques & services are very lacking on Vancouver Island, so it was time to bring one to the heart of Nanaimo, BC. Come in, sip something, try on everything, and leave feeling like the gorgeous Soul you are!.
